Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026 • Wholist Personal Knowledge Base

1. Overview & Acceptance

Welcome to Wholist. By accessing or using our browser extensions, web applications, and associated services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Personal Knowledge Base & User-Owned Data

Wholist is designed as a personal knowledge base for bookmarking, organizing, and curating inspiring thinkers, builders, and creators across the web. You retain 100% ownership and intellectual property rights to all notes, tags, curation metadata, and personal reflections you create within the Service (“User Content”).

We provide JSON export so you can keep a copy of your library. The extension can queue offline saves; browsing, searching and editing the synced library require an internet connection.

3. Permitted Personal Use

You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Wholist for your own research, curation, and organizational workflows. You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code in violation of applicable laws.
  • Use the Service for automated scraping, spamming, or harassment of third parties.
  • Interfere with or compromise the security or integrity of the web service infrastructure.

4. Third-Party Platforms

The Wholist browser extension allows in-page bookmarking across third-party social media platforms (such as X, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok). Wholist is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these social platforms. You are responsible for adhering to the respective terms and policies of third-party platforms you visit.

5. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Wholist shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

6. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Wholist after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
